WALNUT GROVE — The Nicollet Raiders dropped just their second game of the season on Friday after falling to Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove 6-5 in nonconference softball action.

Chloe Kachelmeier led the Raiders in defeat with a 2-for-2 day at the plate that included two RBIs and a run scored. Madison Kettner and Aubrey Hulke were also 1 for 3 each, with Hulke adding a run scored.

Brielle Osborne took the pitching loss, going 6 1/3 innings and allowing five hits and five walks for five earned runs while striking out five.

Nicollet (8-2) hosts Martin County West in a Valley Division doubleheader on Thursday.
