ROCHESTER -- Brothers Cael and Mack Altermatt, along with Adler Kent all took second place in their respective brackets at the Minnesota/USA Wrestling State Folkstyle Championships this past weekend in Rochester.
The Altermatt brothers, wrestling for the New Ulm Rolling Thunder Wrestling Club, both went 3-1. Cael Altermatt had a tech fall, a fall and a decision win in his three victories in the 12U, 82-pound bracket, while Mack Altermatt had a fall and two decisions in the 10U, 64-pound bracket.
Kent went 3-1 with a tech fall, a decision and a major decision in the 12U, 88-pound bracket.
