Cedar Mountain boys fall to Jaguars in playoffs
GRANADA — The No. 17-seeded Cedar Mountain boys basketball team fell 72-62 to 16th-seeded Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman/Martin Luther on Friday in the first round of the Section 2A boys basketball playoffs.
The loss ended the Cougars’ season with a 5-21 mark, while the Jaguars advance to play No. 1-seeded Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton on Tuesday.
Carson Schiller led four Cougars in double figure with 19 points, five assists and four steals, while Thomas Dahme had 15 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Jackson Guetter added 13 points, four assists, four rebounds and five steals, while Blake Koerner had 11 points and Zeke Rendon added 4 points.
