NORTH MANKATO -- Randolph shut out Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial 3-0 on Friday in the Class AA State Softball Tournament title game at Caswell Park.
Avery Voges pitched the complete game in the loss for LCWM, allowing six hits and four walks for two earned runs while striking out five. Julia Montgomery had two of LCWM's four hits, while Grace Thorson and Sydney Kramer each had a hit.
Carter Raymond was the winning pitcher, pitching the complete-game shutout and allowing four hits and a walk while striking out six. Allie Gillette was 1 for 3 with a double and two RBIs to lead Randolph at the plate.
