MANKATO — Minnesota State University, Mankato, is hosting its inaugural community days this winter, and it will have “New Ulm Community Night” Friday, Jan. 14.

The Minnesota State women’s basketball team invites those interested in the New Ulm community to join them on Jan. 14 to watch New Ulm native Joey Batt and the Mavericks take on Bemidji State.

Batt is currently averaging 18 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game and 3.2 assists per game for the 11-0 Mavericks.

The Minnesota State men’s team tips off at 5:30 p.m. that Friday, while the women’s game follows at roughly 7:30 p.m. Those who register for their tickets online at www.msumavericks.com/NewUlm are eligible for $5 adult tickets and $2.50 youth tickets (this is valid for both games).
