• Omot helped lead the Chargers to two big wins at the Kwik Trip Holiday Basketball Tournament last week at Bethany Lutheran College. The Chargers first downed Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial 74-36 on Friday before topping St. Clair 81-46 on Saturday. Both wins moved MVL on to the tournament’s championship game Tuesday.

• In the win against LCWM, Omot had 34 points, six steals and five rebounds.

• In the win over St. Clair, Omot led the way again with 24 points, six rebounds, five steals and three assists.

“Dunwa is a quiet, hardworking young man who knows and loves the game of basketball and what it takes to help him and his teammates be successful,” MVL head coach Craig Morgan said.
