Springfield 72, Nicollet/Mankato Loyola 48

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield’s Sydney Hauger screod 25 points, grabbed four rebounds, had four assists and seven steals as the Tigers defeated Nicollet/Mankato Loyola in a nonconference girls’ basketball game on Monday.

Taylor Augustin had 11 points and four rebounds and Megan Ploeger scored 10 points for the Tigers.

Hayley Selby finished with 11 points for the Raiders. Megan Frutiger had 10 points and Jill Thompson finished with 10 rebounds and 8 points.

Springfield (3-1) hosts New Ulm Cathedral on Tuesday.

Nicollet/Loyola (0-4) hosts Cleveland on Thursday at Mankato Loyola.

MORGAN — BOLD’s Ashley Trongard led all scorers with 17 points as the Warriors topped Cedar Mountain in a nonconference girls’ basketball game on Monday.

For Cedar Mountain, Kailee Larsen had 8 points and Megan Sandgren finished with 7 points.

Cedar Mountain hosts New Ulm Cathedral on Thursday.
