NEW ULM — Martin Luther College senior Alison Lindemann was named UMAC Women’s Golf Player of the Week on Monday.

Lindemann won the honor after averaging a score of 90 in three events last week. She won the North Central Invite with a round of 85 on September 18, and also finished second and third, respectively, in matches hosted by Bethany Lutheran and Minnesota Morris.

Last season, Lindemann became the first MLC women’s golfer in program history to win All-UMAC honors following a seventh-place finish at the 2018 UMAC Women’s Golf Championships.

This season, Lindemann has recorded five top five finishes in six tournaments, including a tie for fourth place at the UMAC Preview Tournament earlier this month.

Lindemann and the Knights will return to action tomorrow (Tuesday, September 24), at the Northwestern Invite at Gross National Golf Course.
