LAMBERTON — Lamberton defeated Essig in a Tomahawk East League baseball game on Friday.Johnny Pistulka allowed just one hit to earn the win. He went the distance and struck out 13.

Nick Altermatt was 2 for 4 with a run and an RBI for Lamberton.

Stark 8, Searles 1

STARK — Sean Mathiowetz was 3 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored to help Stark beat Searles in Tomahawk East League action on Friday.

Brandon Helget was 3 for 5 with two RBIs and a run scored and Zach Haala was 2 for 4 with two runs scored. Nick Lebat was 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Nathan Kral struck out six in the complete-game effort. He allowed eight hits.
