Wabasso — The Rabbits continued to roll on Saturday, picking up a dominant 69-13 Southwest District, East Subdistrict win over the Indians.
Cooper Taylor had 97 yards rushing for the Rabbits (5-0, 3-0) and four touchdowns, while Kyle Jacobson added 70 yards on nine carries with two touchdowns. Nick Altermatt went 9 for 12 for the Rabbits for 170 yards through the air, while running for 42 yards and two scores.
The Indians (1-4, 1-3) were led by Carter Tauer, who rushed for 104 yards on 11 carries with two touchdowns.
Wabasso had 447 total yards of offense, while Sleepy Eye finished with 158 yards on offense.
Wabasso plays at Cathedral next at 7 p.m. Friday, while Sleepy Eye hosts Tracy-Milroy-Balaton for a 7 p.m. game on Friday.

WORHTHINGTON — New Ulm picked up a narrow 2-1 win over Worthington on Saturday in Big South Conference action.
Jessica Moellenhoff had the first goal of the day for New Ulm (5-7-2, 3-5) unassisted in the sixth minute of play. Elle Cooper scored the next Eagles’ goal in the tenth minute of the second half on an assist from Madison Roufs.
The Eagles host Mankato Loyola/LCWM/St. Clair/Madelia at 6:45 p.m. Thursday.

NEW ULM – New Ulm fell 5-1 against unbeaten Worthington on Saturday in Big South Conference action.
Wyatt Huard scored the lone Eagles’ (5-5-3, 4-4-2) goal on a penalty kick with 33:04 left to play in the game. Matthew Janke had 13 saves for the Eagles.
New Ulm plays at Marshall 6:45 p.m. Monday.
