Good people in the world

To the editor: Thank you to the two people that picked me up on my driveway on Southridge Road (last week) when I fell and couldn’t get up. I’m sorry I didn’t get these names. One was a young woman who stopped first, but she was too petite to get me up alone. Then a “city employee” stopped his truck and he was tall and strong so he could lift me up. Thank you both! Also, a few days later I had another emergency and our Pastor Dave from Our Savior helped us take care of something that needed to get done at our home. Look at all the trouble she is in

To the editor: America being invaded by illegal immigrants. Biden and Harris administration in 3 1/2 years and 14 million illegal immigrants invading the US border. In the Trump administration Trump had the most secure border in his four-year term as president and the most secure border in American history. In Trump’s four-year term his inflation rate was 1and 1/2%. In the Biden and Harris administration in 3 1/2 years, inflation rate is from 10, 20, and sometimes 40%. In President Trumps four-year term he didn’t have one war started and he was thinking of ending the Afghan war. ...

To the Editor: It’s not surprising that a right-wing zealot would accuse media of being “in bed with Harris/Walz” since the right is anxious to get into people’s bedrooms across the sexual spectrum. As for accusing Harris/Walz of being “radical left-wing liberals,” their moderate stance only looks like far-left liberalism since the right has distanced themselves by going so far to the right that, by using a baseball analogy, they are far down the right field line into foul territory, probably beyond the confines of a major league stadium. Exaggerated lies abound

To the editor: It’s a sad reality about the drawbacks to growing old, and the former President is not immune. In fact, he’s currently the poster child of an old fogey with signs of chronic forgetfulness and confusion. (Dare I utter the “d” or “a” word?) Now he is flummoxed and lying about Kamala Harris’ ethnicity. He is also obsessing that the media is exaggerating/lying about her crowd sizes at her rallies. Bravo to all Olympic athletes

To the editor: Finally, there was something of worth on TV for two plus weeks to provide countless positives to the world in uplifting the hearts of everyone with joy rather than evil negatives daily. Absolutely refreshing to witness all the skills of the athletes with true humbleness, graciousness, kindness towards each other with great respect despite various challenges. More importantly, there was saneness, peaceful attitudes and harmony with true sportsmanship to teammates and competitors with no ill-will. Get back to basics

To the editor: Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching and always doing our best,being honest and responsible but never deceitful. Obey/keep the “10 Commandments”. Keep your word, it is golden, be trustworthy, honorable, and respectful to others and God’s creation. Conduct yourself properly as tho a camera is recording your every move and word as God sees and hears all. Shape up America. Get back to basics of decency with integrity firmly in place.
