There was a fundraiser Saturday evening (Aug. 22) for First Responders-the fire department and ambulance--sponsored by Pub 209, with music. My daughter and I stopped to listen on our walk back to her apartment, when I collapsed. She hollered for help and several came running. She said two EMTs gave me CPR for "quite awhile."
So I want to give a "heart felt" thank you to the amazing incredible people who saved my life that night. I hope you know how valuable you are to our community -- each and everyone of you.
