When I was a young man, the company I worked for sent me to a seminar for people becoming job foreman. It included all trades (plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and others).
The speaker instructed us on the duties of a foreman: keeping projects on schedule, working with other trades, evaluating fellow workers, identifying their strengths …you get the picture.
The best way to evaluate a person was to consider the work they did incorrectly or had to redo. That was called an "Oh-poop." He used a different four-letter word, but it cannot be printed here.
Work done correctly and on time was called an "atta-boy." He said it took ten atta-boys to make up for one oh-poop. If an employee had more Oh-poops than atta-boys, you had to reassign them or let them go. This was back in the 1980s, when you did not have to fill out nearly as much paperwork.
Now to my point. We have a president who has had close to one hundred court judgments go against him and only a handful go in his favor. That is an awful lot of oh-poops. He keeps advisers around him who will not tell him that the president does not have the authority to do half the things he tries to do. As a result, the courts waste their time ruling against him.
Ask yourself: What happened to the man who said:
"I will balance the budget."
"The ballroom won't cost taxpayers a dime."
"We are not the world's police force."
"I will end the Ukraine-Russia war on day one."
"I won't start any endless wars."
"We need to own Greenland."
"Tariffs are good."
Make no mistake: We paid the tariffs on products shipped here. The courts ruled against him on the tariffs as well.
We have control of both houses of Congress, the presidency, and the Supreme Court has a six-member conservative majority. Stop blaming everyone under the sun and solve these problems. It's discouraging to hear politicians constantly calling on us to fight. I would much rather hear them call upon one another to solve problems.
