To the editor:

Are we sleeping? I am not just talking to the common men and women. I am talking to leaders in every community throughout this Christian founded nation. Industry, churches, schools, local, state and federal government officials need to wake up to what’s happening in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Denver and Minneapolis. In other words, reality has escaped many in the major metro areas of our country.

The late great Winston Churchill of England said “Taxing your way to prosperity is like standing inside a big basket and grabbing the handles and trying to lift yourself off the ground.” How about this quote from Americas Thomas Jefferson. “Government big enough to provide everything you need is government big enough to take everything you have.” Finally, Americas James Madison, one of our founding fathers said and I paraphrase: “There are more examples of freedoms being stolen from the people, gradually and quietly, by those in power, than by sudden and violent take over.”
