Mr. Fear and Division only wants power

To the Editor:

I know someone who’s taken offense with my constantly condemning the former president with all of the reasons why he should never be President again. Yes, that’s Mr. Fear and Division who has no business even to be this close as the Republican nominee for that office. If Mr. Fear and Division hadn’t cowed the GOP Senate from their impeachment vote following Jan. 6, that party wouldn’t be saddled with him again as he rides roughshod over it still.

This someone asked that I start telling instead why Kamala Harris should be president. I first thought that maybe he should have watched the debate, or, at least, someone else’s (not Fox News’) assessment of Kamala’s dismantling of the fragile octogenarian. I also thought, maybe this person is on the verge of a seismic move to the Harris camp.

However, in the next breath he whined about how his Democrat friends wouldn’t vote for Biden because of his age and Kamala’s proximity to the presidency. But now they’re firmly in the Harris camp despite their earlier left-wing, communist fears about her backing up President Biden. And now this person refers to those Democrat “friends” as stupid.

The former President loves to affix labels with negative connotations to anyone who isn’t loyally in his…cult. I know it has a negative connotation, but if he walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, he wants to be a duck-tator…er…dictator.

Why is she a communist? Facts not in evidence. It’s only Mr. Labelmaker’s say-so that quickly looks to spread fear and divide…hence my earlier nickname.

I’ll just say that Kamala Harris’s answers to questions at the debate and things I’ve seen her do as a senator, tell me that she’s up for the job with policies that should appeal to all Americans (except billionaires), and that more than overrides a man found guilty of 34 felonies, with a dubious business acumen, and with no real taste for doing the job of the President. All he wants, all he’s ever wanted is the power. And absolute power corrupts, and it corrupts absolutely.
