To the editor:

Finally, there was something of worth on TV for two plus weeks to provide countless positives to the world in uplifting the hearts of everyone with joy rather than evil negatives daily.

Absolutely refreshing to witness all the skills of the athletes with true humbleness, graciousness, kindness towards each other with great respect despite various challenges.

More importantly, there was saneness, peaceful attitudes and harmony with true sportsmanship to teammates and competitors with no ill-will.

Take a lesson world…shape up and conduct your individual selves and governments to your people and back to other nations in like positive behavior and manners.

If athletes can meet on the world stage every four years after years of hard work, discipline, ethics, commitment, dedication to their sport and to their respective countries, why can’t the world as a whole do likewise with respect and peace for their land and all nations?

Politicians, wake up and stop your evil tongues from spewing lies concerning reality while desiring to destroy this nation which we are on the brink of enduring to become slaves to this government. The U.S. will self-destruct from the inside out as things are going presently.

Simply put…if the Golden Rule can be executed with joy, grace and sincerity by the athletes, why can’t the rest of the world act likewise?

Thank you, Paris for most wonderful summer Olympics ever. You brought daily joy and a lightened heart from the Satanic negatives of this world to the positives of the Games to make each day worthwhile as a devoted viewer of the Games!

Thank you, athletes, for showing true humility, humanity and decency.
