Who is telling the truth?
To the editor:
This year’s presidential election reminds me of an old riddle that involves two tribes, one of which is made up of liars, and the other of which always tells the truth. I could not repeat the joke here, because it would be considered racially insensitive.
The point is that in the current election cycle, both sides are accusing the other side of lying. Every hour of the day, MSNBC and CNN accuse Donald Trump of being a serial liar. Every hour of the day, FOX news accuses Kamala Harris of multiple lies and deceptions regarding her past and current policies positions.
If this leaves you confused, you are not alone. How can you possibly figure out who is really telling the truth and who is lying?
The great thing is that you don’t have to figure it out. All you have to do is ask yourself a few simple questions like these:
Which presidential administration made America more prosperous? Biden-Harris or Trump?
Which administration made America safer and more secure? Trump or Biden-Harris?
Which administration made the world a safer place to live in? Biden-Harris or Trump?
For the next few months you will hear the folks on tv accusing the other side of lying. That’s all a distraction. It’s just words. The really important thing is results. Compare the results of the Biden-Harris administration with the results of Trump’s administration. You won’t go wrong if you base your vote on that.
