To the editor:

Why is the court system “soft” on murderers?

Why are legal games played with murderers via plea deals? Killers are on video committing murders, then claiming in court “not guilty” while judges sentence them to only a few years, then parole, or life but only serving less than 20 years, not life, then released to kill again. The juries did their job to find them guilty; do your job, judges, to make the public arena a safer place for all.

Murderers ignored the victims’ pleas to spare their lives, yet no mercy shown to them as they were killed execution-style or stabbing victims sliced up dozens of times to over 100 times as in many cases!

Murderers deserve only death. They took a precious life or lives, now must forfeit their life in payment for their evil actions.

Get tough with murderers of all ages and maybe then our murder rate in the U.S. will finally drop.

Also, remove all assault weapons from the public to cease killing sprees. Such weapons belong with the military only.

Emotional, unstable folks under doctor’s care buying assault weapons, committing mass murder and everyone shocked? Protect the innocent, sane public at work, school or play by putting unstable evil in hospitals 24/7.

Show no mercy to killers, America.
