Government greed

To the editor:

Governor, you are proud of amassing $17 plus billion from our hardworking, income-strapped public, driving a lot of businesses out of business as well? Cost of living soaring, yet your greed demands spend, spend, spend on the super ridiculous during these tough financial times?

A surplus of $17 billion is a disgrace, pure greed and totally unnecessary to amass. Cut taxes, governor and legislature, do your jobs properly in support of the 1owly taxpayers.

Leave the $17 billion in the bank, cut taxes across the board for everyone from property taxes to gasoline taxes, state income taxes and more. Taxpayers have been ripped off enough by the Minnesota government greed system while the lowly taxpayers struggle daily to survive high inflation and struggling to pay all the taxes as well.

Minnesota government, use common sense and cease the greed attitude, please!
