Vote November 8
To the editor:
It is an interesting thought that next week we observe both Election Day and Veterans Day.
While veterans did not give you your rights and freedoms, they made sure that they were not taken away.
All your rights and freedoms are not given to you, you have them because you were born.
Thus they cannot be taken away without force. The military and law enforcement are there to see that they are not. Voting is one of the privileges that comes with freedom. You get to elect the people that represent you in our government ( of the people, by the people, and for the people ). We are the government. I urge you to vote your conscience on Nov. 8. Who you think will best serve our communities, state and nation.
Do not break faith with those who have served, fought, bled and died, so that you can vote.
Again vote.
And if you see or know a veteran or officer of the law tell them, “thank you for your service”.
