To the editor:
Mary Thom's letter of 05/20/2022 contained significant inaccurate information. The New Ulm Human Rights Commission is not sponsoring a singer to benefit GLSEN. An informational item appeared on our agenda two months ago, but no details were available at the time. No request to fund or host the event was included, nor was any action taken. The HRC agendas and minutes are available for public review on the New Ulm city's website.
