To the editor:

The Rachel Maddow Show featured an hour-long special about “abortion” on MSNBC TV Network Friday evening, Nov. 29. It was very informative. It showed videos of pro-life support groups holding signs that read “Please Don’t Kill Our Babies” in front of the abortion clinic in Witchita, Kansas. Dr. Tiller, the abortion doctor, was finally convinced to close his clinic, only to open another abortion clinic in a different location. Dr. Tiller was shot to death soon thereafter and his assassin was convicted and sent to jail. It is illegal to murder. We must obey the laws of our country.

We need to protect all life. Justice can only be served by protecting the innocent, by changing the laws on abortion in our country. Some politicians are more focused on the impeachment of President Trump, rather than saving lives and other important issues facing Congress. We need to vote for “Life” in the November 2020 elections.

In a shocking vote in the U.S. Senate earlier this year, every Democrat except three voted to allow killing of healthy babies after they are born by accident in a botched abortion. Among the yes votes was Amy Klobuchar. What a shameful and embarassing admission in our great state of Minnesota!

Doctors take an oath to nurture and protect life, not destroy life. There are many “birthright” centers that will help pregnant women with their needs. In New Ulm, First Choice Pregnancy Services, located at 1223 S. Broadway, telephone 507-359-9800, will help women of all ages. They provide free ultrasounds and support and are given referrals for housing, medical care, social services and adoptions.

Rachel Maddow informed the viewers that many states have already shut down abortion facilities. The pro-life movement and President Trump appointing responsible judges are making a difference! Rachel Maddow voiced her concern that because President Trump appointed Neal Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, Roe v. Wade might eventually be overturned. We can only hope and pray this will be accomplished! President Trump is our first pro-life president who has taken steps to provide “Freedom and Justice for All.”

It seems the abortionists don’t give up easily. A woman by the name of Julie Burkhart recently opened a new abortion clinic in Kansas.

It isn’t often that I watch MSNBC, especially Rachel Maddow, but that evening I watched the whole hour! Rachel showed us how Planned Parenthood and the abortion business has no respect for life, not to mention their resale business for selling body parts for profit!

I would very much like to recommend a couple of “must see” movies. “The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” featuring abortionist Dr. Gosnell, and “Unplanned,” about Abby Johnson, RN, who worked at an abortion clinic and chose to leave! These movies are very educational for teenage and college people. Put them on your Christmas list!
