Anthony “Tony” Groebner, 86, died on January 17, 2023, at his home in Lennox, S.D. Anthony Albert Groebner was born on April 8, 1936, in Brown County, the son Henry F. and Wilhelmina (Minnie Sellner) Groebner. He served in the Minnesota Army National Guard from 1953 until 1956, then the South Dakota Army National Guard until 1961. He served active duty in the US Army from 1961 until his honorable discharge in 1962.
