Gerald Petterson

LAFAYETTE—Gerald Petterson, age 98, of Lafayette passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Ecumen Pathstone in Mankato. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Bernadotte Lutheran Church in rural Lafayette. Pastor Mike Zaske will officiate. Burial will follow in the Bernadotte Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Bernadotte Lutheran Church in rural Lafayette. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm is assisting the family with arrangements.

Norbert “Papa” Huber

Norbert Huber, (Papa), 76, passed away on August, 29, 2024. He was born Dec. 1, 1947 in Germany. He spent 38 years teaching high school and coaching sports. Surviving are his wife Vicki ; sons Michael and his daughters Kennedy and Kaydence and their mother Jesse and great grandson Andre; and John and his daughter Aundrea and her mother Carissa; and his brothers Karl and Richard. Funeral is Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Cremation  Society on 1979 Old Hudson Road, St. Paul  with 1:00 p.m. visitation followed by the service.
