NEW ULM—James Lamecker, 58, of New Ulm, died Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm with Father Mark Steffl celebrating mass. Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Full military honors will be provided by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard.
