NEW ULM—Charles “Chuck” Hier Schewe, of New Ulm, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Chuck was born on December 13, 1936, in New Ulm, Minnesota, to Stanley and Muriel (Hier) Schewe. On September 14, 1955, he was united in marriage to Clarice Schwartz. Together they had four wonderful children whom they raised on their farm near Sleepy Eye. After Clarice’s passing, Chuck married Carolyn Klimpel on June 16, 1984.
