LAS VEGAS, NV--Willow Ann Rorabaugh, 80, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.
Born on May 2, 1946, in New Ulm, Minnesota, to Dorothy and Henry Ahrens, Willow grew up in a small town alongside her three sisters. Her keen sense of humor with her joyful smile brightened any day. With remarkable strength, grace and resilience, she was an inspiration to all of us.
Willow met the love of her life, Barre Rorabaugh, at 3M. They were united in marriage on January 27, 1967, embarking on a shared journey of 60 years. Together they raised two daughters, Shannon and Erin.
As Willow navigated a Parkinson's diagnosis 23 years ago, Barre became her devoted, unwavering caregiver. He worked tirelessly to find ways to improve her life and health, ultimately becoming her voice and true North Star.
Above all else, Willow was dedicated to her family. Their journey together included building a life across many communities--from Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Colorado to many memorable years in the Westlake Village area of California, and finally Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her sharp analytical mind and passion for finance led to accounting positions at 3M, Edward Jones and other companies.
She was always in her grandsons' lives as their biggest supporter in sports and school events. She rarely missed a game. In her personal time, she was an avid reader, animal lover, and traveler who loved to also spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Barre; daughters, Shannon (David Church) and Erin; grandsons, Cameron and Benjamin ; step-grandchildren, Alex and Hailey ; sisters, Jeri Ahrens, Susan Schuetze (Larry), and Nancy Durig; brother-in-law Greg Rorabaugh (Denise) and sister-in-law Lorraine Rorabaugh; as well as five nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Dale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Willow's memory to Shriners Children's.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
