SLEEPY EYE-Monica A. Warwick, 85, of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, died on September 2, 2026, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye with Christian Mothers Rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 4:45 p.m. prior to the visitation. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church - North Entrance. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The clergy will be Fr. Samuel Perez. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Monica is survived by her children: Catherine Breiholz, Jeffrey Mathiowetz, Timothy Mathiowetz, Carrie (Vincent) Mueller, Kevin (Liz) Mathiowetz, Jonathan Mathiowetz, Ann Warwick, Gwen Roiger, and Daniel Warwick; 20 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Janet Jenniges, Karen Deopere, Ronald Marti, Anita Hemmeter, Steven Marti, Paul (LuAnn) Marti, Mary (Mark) Haller, Robert (Kay Jo) Marti, Julie (Dick) Sindelir, and Beverly (Dan) Kadlec; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Monica is also survived by extended family: James (Debbie) Warwick, Pamela (Alan) Krienke, Michelle Stoner, Van Cunningham, and Geralyn Lindow.
