NEW ULM--James "Jim" Joseph Zupfer, age 71 of New Ulm died peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home- NORTH Chapel in New Ulm. Jim is survived by his wife, Irene Zupfer of New Ulm; his daughter, Jessica Schmit of New Ulm; his son, Scott Zupfer of Mapleton; his 2 grandchildren; his 3 step-grandchildren; and his step-great-grandchild.
