NEW ULM--Diane Cecelia (Zwach) Wellmann, 82, of New Ulm, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home - North Chapel in New Ulm. A private family burial will follow at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2026 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home - North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at the North Chapel. A full obituary will be featured in The Journal. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm is assisting the family with arrangements.
