Marion is survived by her brothers, Robert Scharf of New Ulm and Ronald (Sharon) Scharf of Bloomington; nieces, Andrea Scharf and Angela Scharf; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Frances Scharf; brothers, Charles F. Scharf and David Scharf; nephew, Charles R. Scharf.

Marion Margaret Scharf was born September 30, 1941, in New Ulm to Charles and Frances (Aschenbrenner) Scharf. She was baptized at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm and was a life-long, devout member there. She was also a proud graduate of New Ulm High School class of 1959.

She will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Blessed be her memory.

Marion’s family extends their sincere appreciation to the staff at Ridgeway on German, Alina Hospice and Prairie Senior Cottages for the care provided in her later years.

Through all pain at times she’d smile,

A smile of heavenly birth;

And when the angels called her home,

She smiled farewell to earth.
