ORMSBY– A Funeral Service for Thomas Robert Kuehl, 70, of rural ORMSBY, Minnesota will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Galena) in Rural Ormsby, Minnesota with burial at the church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Kramer Funeral Home Chapel in Trimont, Minnesota and one hour prior to services on Thursday.
The Kramer Funeral Home of Sherburn, Trimont, and Welcome, Minnesota are in care of Thomas’s arrangements.
Thomas Robert Kuehl was born on July 15, 1955, in Fairmont, Minnesota, the son of Vernon and Leona (Hoelmer) Kuehl. Tom’s Home was in Galena Township, where he farmed most of his life. Tom rode his Harley to heaven on May 27, 2026.
Tom attended school in Trimont, MN, graduating in 1973. He participated in football, baseball, and FFA.
Tom was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Galena Township. He served as head usher for many years and was always the first to greet you and hand you your bulletin every Sunday. He was active in the Church, helping with mowing, snow removal, and various other tasks.
Tom spent a few years working for the Railway Service in northern Minnesota. He then became an owner/operator, trucking for STI Trucking and Baarts Trucking, Truman Minnesota.
Tom took over his parents farming operation and was a fourth-generation farmer, raising corn and soybeans. His hobbies included riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He took several trips, mostly to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and northern Minnesota.
Another highlight of Tom’s Life was spending time with his dogs, JJ and Ella, who meant the world to him.
Tom touched many lives and made many friends through his church, his trucking career, and his involvement in the community. He will be missed by his bible study groups, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Nancy Hoppe; his brother-in-law, Donald Wilson; and his sister-in-law, Elaine Kuehl.
He is survived by his brothers, Wayne (Darlene) Kuehl; Dan (Rosemary) Kuehl; sister, Eileen Kuehl; nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
