NEW ULM–Bonita “Bonnie” Gail Woodard, 65 of New Ulm died Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. A celebration of life service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm. Ennichement will follow in the New Ulm City Cemetery-Columbarium in New Ulm following the service. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel prior to the service. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Sara (Emily) Arbo of San Antonio, Texas; and her 2 grandchildren. The full obituary will follow in a later edition of The Journal.
