Visitation will be on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 11 AM to 1 PM at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Springfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 1 PM. Interment will be at St.

Mathias Catholic Cemetery in Wanda immediately after mass. Following the burial, a reception will be held at

the American Legion in Wanda. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield. Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Loretta Bertha Schumacher was born December 16, 1927, to Joseph and Amelica (Bauer) Schumacher on a farm southwest of Springfield, 15 minutes after her twin sister Lorraine. Hedman is survived by her children – Douglas Roiger, Daniel Roiger, Steven Baumann, Janice Prunty, Robert, Julie Rohlik, Verlin Hedman; 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
