MESA, AZ–Velma (Jones) Currie, 80, of Mesa, Arizona died on Friday, October 17, 2025. She was one of “the twins” born on January 27, 1945 in New Ulm, Minnesota to Edwin and Emma (Campbell) Jones of Cambria, Minnesota. Velma is survived by her brother, Eldon (Carol) Jones, and her twin sister, Selma (Bob) Laubach. You are invited to a celebration of Velma’s life at the Town Hall in Cambria, Minnesota on May 30, 2026 at 1:30 pm. We will share memories and dine together. In lieu of a memorial gift, the family asks that you share a special time with your family/friends in memory of Velma. She will be greatly missed and remembered by many.
