SPRINGFIELD–Allen Joe Groebner, 71, of Springfield, died on April 21, 2026, at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield, MN and will continue on Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Springfield, MN on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Allen Joe Groebner was born on January 12, 1955, in Burnstown Township, the son of Gerhardt and Rosella (Vogel) Groebner.  After school he served in the United States Marines from 1974 – 1976 achieving the rank of Advanced Corporal. Al is survived by his wife Robin; children – Adam (Sarah) Groebner, Angela (Eric) Daun, Amanda (Scott) Olsem; 11 grandchildren ; and 4 great-grandchildren.
