Garry John Pascher

SPRINGFIELD–Garry John Pascher, age 85 of Springfield died on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at his home in rural Springfield, MN. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Springfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Raphael’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Springfield.

Garry was born on July 28, 1940, in Springfield, MN, the son of John and Adoline (Sprank) Pascher. While at a dance at the Sota Ball Room, Garry met Sharon Blankenhagen. The couple married on August 11, 1962, at St. Michael’s Church in Milroy. Garry and Sharon made their home in rural Springfield and were blessed with 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. He worked as a heavy equipment operator, welder, and a backhoe operator. Garry held a passion for deer hunting, welding crafts, crafting wire and board puzzles, making hooch, attending auctions, races, going dancing, collecting gems, along with mowing his lawn. He loved hot rods, showing off his 1932 Chevy Coupe in parades, and enjoyed riding on his Goldwing Trike with Sharon and his schnauzer pups.

He is survived by his daughters – Kori (Peter) Lang of Springfield, Koni (Dale) Dilly of Fairmont, and Keli Westermayer of Burnsville; grandsons – Andrew (Sara) Lang, Abbott (Rachel) Lang, Anthony Lang, Ashton (Kelsey) Dilly, Kolton (Tiffany) Dilly, Brock Westermayer (fiancé Shelby), Carter Westermayer, and Logan Westermayer; great grandchildren – Grace Lang, Izzy Lang, Jackson Lang, Wyatt Lang, Loretta Lang, JoHanna Dilly, Emmett Dilly, Emerson Dilly, Atlas Dilly, his brother Frank Pascher of Shelton, WA and Garry’s special friend Sandra Balbach. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife – Sharon in 2021, sister Janice Meidl and sister-in-law Janice Pascher.
