SLEEPY EYE–Ervan D. Moldan, age 91 of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota died on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Sleepy Eye Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye with Knights of Columbus Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. The clergy will be Fr. Nathan Hansen. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by Sleepy Eye Honor Guard. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. Ervan is survived by his son, Curtis Moldan (significant other Dawn Fast) of Sleepy Eye; daughter, Susan Brown (significant other David Stillo) of Sacred Heart; grandchildren, Kyle Brown, Cassandra Brown, and Gracie Moldan; great-grandsons, Kevin Brown and Henry Stevermer; siblings, Gerald Moldan, Marlyn (Mary) Moldan, Harold Moldan, Arlene (Jerome) Tauer, Delores Warner, and Jerome (Mary) Moldan; sister-in-law, Deborah Moldan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sister, Lorraine Sampson; brother, Melvin Moldan; sister-in-law, Lucy Moldan; and brothers-in-law, Art Warner, Cletus Homan, and Glen Sampson.
