Renette is survived by her brothers, Franklin (Burnett) Pearse and Sheldon (Joyce Hoffmann) Pearse, both of New Ulm; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her twin sister, Renee (Alan) Osberg.

Renette Faye Pearse was born on November 13, 1946 in Hanska to Forrest & Sylvia (Kjelshus) Pearse. She graduated top of her class from Hanska High School in 1964. After high school, Renette (along with her twin sister, Renee), moved to the Twin Cities and attended accounting school, where she received her certification. Renette was employed as various places, including the Mankato Free Press and the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center. Fiercely independent, she loved the outdoors, nature, wild life, and living in Grand Marais, MN. Renette also enjoyed spending time at the lake with her brother, Franklin, and sister-in-law, Burnett. This led her to move to Grand Marais and purchase a home on Lake Superior.

Memorials are preferred to the Brown County Humane Society.
