NEW ULM–Patrick “Pat” Herbert Kretsch, 87 of New Ulm died peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

CORRECTED TIMES: Mass of Christian burial will be 11am on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm.  Father Jerry Meidl will celebrate the Mass, and burial will take place at a later date.

CORRECTED TIMES: Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm.  The visitation will continue from 10-11 am on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church prior to the Mass.
