NEW ULM–Lorraine Marie (Lanners) Hofmeister passed away Monday, July 8, 2024 at Divine Providence in Sleepy Eye. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 9-10:30 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2024 at the North Chapel followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the Cathedral of Holy Trinity in New Ulm.  Interment will be at the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery. The Christian Mother’s Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. A full obituary will be featured in Wednesday’s edition of The Journal. Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm is in charge of arrangements.
