NEW ULM–Marilyn Schmid, 81, of New Ulm passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Garnette Gardens in Redwood Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes – North Chapel in New Ulm. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the North Chapel. The Christian Mother’s Society will pray the rosary at 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.
