NEW ULM–Jerome “Jerry” Roman Horner, age 91 of New Ulm died on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home – South Chapel in New UIm.  Burial will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery where full military honors will be provided by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. Jerome is survived by his wife, Jeanne Horner of rural Courtland; his children, Michael Horner, Scott Horner, Todd Horner, Kimberly Zimmerman, Dan Horner, and Jill Derksen; daughter-in-law; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jeffrey Horner; his brother, Joseph Horner; and his sister, Dolores Depew.  The full obituary will follow in next week’s edition of The Journal.
