CLEMENTS–Joan Dahmes, of Clements, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, with her daughter at her side at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She attained the age of 90 years, 6 months, and 27 days. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at First United Methodist Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow in the New Avon Salem Cemetery in rural Wabasso. A visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be held just prior to her service, from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, 23, 2024 at the church.

Joan is survived by her children, Vicky Dahmes of Clements, Bradley and wife, Lisa Dahmes of Hawick, Scott and wife, Crystal Dahmes of Springfield, and Forrest of Hawick. Grandchildren, Amanda (Troy) Goblish, Brittany (Rob) Krueger, Brandon (Jenika) Olson, Bailey Nelson, Nicholas Dahmes, Ben Dahmes, Mark (Jenna) Dahmes, Lindsey (Jose) Zandonadi, Jordan Dahmes and fiancé Kylie, Brooke Dahmes, and Rebecca Dahmes and fiancé Gabe, Christopher and Megan Dahmes, Alexandra, and Andrew Lien. Great-Grandchildren Scarlett, Otto, Owen, Briggs, Thomas, Olivia, Lillian, Cameron, Camilla, Everly, Lincoln, Max, Gabby, Rosella, Charlotte and Adeline.
