April 8, 1951 – January 23, 2024 of New Ulm, MN passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 23 at Banner University Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ.

A memorial will be held on April 8th at the New Ulm Funeral Home southern chapel at 10am, a service will be held at 11am with lunch after. Carolyn’s ashes will be interred at the family plot in Douglas Grove cemetery Comstock, NE at a later date.

Carolyn was born on April 8th,1951 in Cairo, NE daughter of Dale and Hazel Schweitzer Veeder and was the eldest of five. She married Glen Bundy, April 8th 1972 in Broken Bow, NE. She worked at the Hallmark store in New Ulm until its closing and enjoyed serving the community.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Glen; two sons, James and Jeremy; four grandchildren Robert Calvert, Amanda Calvert, Kaja Bundy and Trista Bundy; two great grandchildren; and three brothers, John (Ginny), Virgil (Connie) and Marvin (Shaun) Veeder.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Hazel Veeder; mother and father in-law Amy and Evert Bundy; brother Dennis, and nephew Wesley; and brother in-law William Bundy.

Carolyn was a very loving and caring woman and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She set an example for us all on how to be forgiving and to put love first in all the things we do.
