A memorial service will take place at the Augustana Lutheran Church in Gibbon in the spring of 2024.

The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of Gibbon are assisting the family with arrangements at this time.

Marlys is survived by her daughters, Cornelia “Corkie” Tietel of Searles, Gwen Reeves of Winthrop; her son, Gaberial Taralseth of New Ulm; her 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchild;

Marlys Marie Stark was born on October 17, 1933, in Fernando, Minnesota-Sibley County to Milton and Karen (Kruse) Stark.
