Kevin “Otis” Louise Enter

NICOLLET–Kevin Louis Enter, aka Otis, age 59, of Nicollet, died Thursday, November 23, 2023 at his home.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nicollet, with Pastor Micah Plocher officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters, Ashley (Phil) Ochs of Crystal, MN and Brittany (Brian) Kottke of Cleveland, MN; grandchildren, Emma Ochs and Klaus Kottke; sisters, Cheryl Enter, Gayle Peterson, and Norma (Jim) Goettlicher; a brother, Brad Enter; mother-in-law, Elaine Havemeier; sister-in-law, Tina (Cain) Quilhot; brothers-in-law, Les (Jonette) Havemeier Jr. and Richard (Abby) Havemeier; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton & Vera; father-in-law, Les Havemeier Sr.; and brother-in-law, Randy Peterson.

Kevin Louis Enter was born on July 12, 1964 in Mankato to Milton & Vera (Quiram) Enter. He was united in marriage to Beverly Fern Havemeier on June 16, 1990 in Nicollet. Kevin was employed as a truck driver and in sales for Hewitts. He enjoyed duck and deer hunting, farming, fishing, tractor pulls, and snowmobiling. Most of all, Kevin loved spending time with his family, which included fishing, boating, and creating many cherished memories with each other. He was a member of the Nicollett Conservation Club and a founding member of the Lafayette Antique Tractor Pull.
