SPRING VALLEY, WI–Mary Louise Brown, 74, of Spring Valley, WI, passed away on October 8, 2023 with family at her side. She was born on January 22, 1949, in Sleepy Eye, MN, to George and Marilyn Brown. Mary was a strong willed and independent woman who lived life on her own terms. She had a frugal nature but never hesitated to enjoy good times with her friends and family. Mary had a special fondness for dogs and cherished their companionship.

Mary had a passion for football and was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Denver Bron-cos, and Kansas City Chiefs. She could recite all the greatest hits of the 60s and knew exactly who sang them. Mary’s love for Rock and Roll was unmatched.She is survived by her siblings, George (Debbie), Don (Kim), Linda (John), Nancy (Pete), David (Lisa), and her nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Marilyn (Sievert) and George Brown, and her sister Vicki Jo Brown. A Celebration of Life will be held in memory of Mary on Saturday, October 28th, at the Oakwood United Methodist Church in New Ulm. The service will begin at 11:00, with visitation starting at 10:00 in the church. Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her soul rest in peace.
