NEW ULM–LaDonna R. Donahue, age 83 of New Ulm died peacefully on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Pheasants Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care in St. Peter. A private family service will be held at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home-South Chapel in New Ulm. Ennichement will follow in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery Columbarium. The Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes of New Ulm are assisting the family with arrangements at this time. Donna is survived by her husband, Leonard Donahue of New Ulm; her daughters, Vicki Donahue of New Ulm, Lorri Krozack of Stevensville, MD; her son, Jeffry Donahue of Long Beach, CA; her son-in-law, John Krozack of Stevensville, MD; her 2 granddaughters; her sisters, Brenda Aufderheide of Mankato, Karen Woelfel of Bird Island, Marlene Groves of Le Sueur; her brother, Don Zins of Cambridge; her sister-in-law, Karen Zins of Nicollet; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Gene Zins; and her brother-in-law, Glen Groves. LaDonna Regina Zins was born March 4, 1940, in Nicollet, Minnesota to Matthew and Arlene (Leonard) Zins. The full obituary will follow in Tuesday’s edition of The Journal.
