COMFREY–Joyce Edna Wiese, 83, of Comfrey, MN died on October 3, 2023, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Sturm Funeral Home, Comfrey Chapel and will continue on Friday from 9:30 am until 10:30 a.m. at the New Hope Lutheran Church, Comfrey. Service will be held at the New Hope Lutheran Church, on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. The clergy will be John Hopper. Interment will be at the New Hope Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Comfrey. She is survived by her children – Ramona Widmer of New Ulm, Debra (Burt) Manz of Park Rapids, David (Nancy) Wiese of New Ulm; brother, Dennis (Alice) Becker of Sioux Falls; and many nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald in 2020; son, Douglas; twin sister, Judy (David) Schlack Elbert; and brother, Ronald (Serene) Becker.
