Following graduation, Rose pursued a religious life for a few years. Over the course of her lifetime, Rose lived in Los Angeles, Sleepy Eye, and New Ulm before moving to Mankato in 2002. For the last ten years, she lived at Pathstone Assisted Living. Rose received much love and support from her AA friends in New Ulm and Sleepy Eye over the years.
